We are often asked whether a particular product is safe for use during pregnancy, for a child, for a pet, or alongside a specific health condition or medication. This page explains what we can and cannot share, and where to go for personalised guidance.

The short answer

We are not authorised to provide personalised health advice. For anything specific to your body, your child, your pet or your medication, please speak with a qualified practitioner who can take your situation into account. We will always be happy to share what is on the label, the recommended serving and our sourcing details.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

We are not authorised to advise on suitability during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Please consult your midwife, doctor or a qualified holistic practitioner. They can take your individual situation into account in a way we cannot.

Children

For age suitability and serving sizes for children, we recommend speaking with a paediatric practitioner. We can share the general label information and any test data we hold (for example, heavy metal testing for our cocoa). If you would like a Certificate of Analysis for a specific product, please email hello@naviorganics.uk.

Pets (dogs, cats and others)

There are no formal protocols for our products with pets. The general principle is less bodyweight, less serving. A small starting amount, observed over a few days, is the gentlest way to introduce something new. For a pet with a health condition, please speak with a vet, ideally one with experience in holistic or integrative care, who can guide you safely.

Specific health conditions

We are not authorised to advise on whether a product is suitable for a specific health condition. Please consult a qualified holistic practitioner or your doctor. We are very happy to share the recommended serving and the ingredients on the label so you can review these together.

Medication interactions

We are not authorised to advise on interactions between our products and prescription medication. Your doctor or pharmacist is best placed to look at this in the context of your specific medication and dose.

Allergies and dietary restrictions

For gluten, dairy, nut or other allergen questions, please see the relevant product page or email hello@naviorganics.uk. We can confirm what is in the product and how it is processed.

Why we are careful here

Many of our botanicals are deeply traditional and have been used for centuries, but every body is different. We would rather you receive guidance tailored to you than rely on a generic answer from us. The right practitioner can do that in a way we cannot.
