Our Shungite is sourced directly from a mine in Karelia, Russia, the only place in the world where Shungite is found. We work directly with the producer who shapes the pieces to our order.

What is the difference between Elite Shungite and the discs?

Elite (or Noble) Shungite is the highest grade. It has a very high carbon content, which makes it delicate and impossible to carve. We use it for natural stones and high-grade pendants. The discs and petal pendants are made from a lower-carbon Shungite, which can be carved into precise shapes. Both are functional. We never describe our discs as Elite on the website.

How should I wear or use my pendant?

There is no strict rule, please wear it however feels comfortable. Many people wear theirs during the day, especially when working with electronic devices, and place it on a bedside table at night. Some sleep with it on, others prefer to remove jewellery before bed. It really comes down to what feels best for you.

Black marks on my skin or clothes from a new pendant

This is normal for high-carbon Shungite, particularly Elite. With a little wear, the natural oils from your skin will "seal" the surface and the residue stops appearing. Rubbing the sides of the pendant gently with your fingers speeds this up. Once a pendant has been worn we cannot accept it for return.

My pendant has chipped or shows white inside

Elite Shungite is delicate and can occasionally chip. The white you may see is usually a natural matrix variation rather than a defect, but please email hello@naviorganics.uk with a photo so we can take a look.

My pendant arrived broken

Please email hello@naviorganics.uk with a photo of your order number. In most cases we will arrange a refund without needing the broken piece returned, since the Shungite is still useful (for example kept in a pouch or near a device).

EMF protection and meter readings

We share our own and our customers' experience of using Shungite around devices, but different EMF meters measure different things and we cannot guarantee meter readings will change in any particular way. If you have tested with a specific meter and would like to discuss what you found, please email hello@naviorganics.uk with the meter brand and model.

Large Shungite stones in the home

Our directors personally use a large Shungite piece in their own home. A larger piece can support the overall environment. In settings with stronger sources (for example city centres, 5G masts or several devices in close range), some people add smaller discs directly on smart meters or routers. This is optional and depends on your setup.
